UNCERTAIN GERMANIC TRIBES, Aurum Barbarorum. Late 3rd-early 4th centuries. 'Aureus' (Subaeratus, 19.5 mm, 2.36 g, 6 h), 'Tetrarchic Roma Group C'. Imitating Maximianus, 286-305. IIIՒIT IIIIII Laureate and cuirassed bust of Maximianus to left, seen from behind. Rev. II IIƧIII Roma, helmeted, seated left on throne, holding Victory presenting wreath in her right hand and scepter in her left. Aurum Barbarorum 10, 24 October 2021, 2418 (same dies). Pierced and with some breaks in plating, otherwise, very fine.
