ISLAMIC, 'Abbasid Caliphate. Al-Muqtadir, second reign, AH 296-317 / AD 908-929. 'Amiri' Dinar (Gold, 18 mm, 1.93 g, 6 h), citing the caliph al-Muqtadir billah, San'a', AH 313 = AD 925/6. Bernardi 241El. Light scratches on the obverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.


These well struck 'amiri' dinars of fine style were occasionally issued after AH 303 by the Ya'furid amirs in San'a.
