The Anglo Palestine Bank – 16 May 1948 cpl set of the Emergency notes: 500 Mils (#193001 - Violet), 1 Pound (#895001 - Green), 5 Pounds (#400001 - Brown) & 10 Pounds (#221002 - Blue), all printed on one side on the special Anglo Palestine Bank paper, diagonally lined w/the framed Bank's logo, printed by Shoshani Printing in Tel Aviv as a backup to the regular banknotes ordered at the American Bank Note Company, the notes were never used & most of them were destroyed; Extremely Rare, UNC (x4)
