Bermuda 12.5.1937 P-9 PMG Choice Very Fine 35 10/- Shillings
The initial issue of the 10/- Shillings with portrait of King George VI was printed in green, as seen here. This color was not well received by the public and after 100,000 of this denomination were issued in green the color was changed to red. A short-lived type that has always been popular and one of the quintessential Bermuda type notes that belongs in every serious collection.
