The 1970 issue from Bermuda is noteworthy for a number of reasons. It is the last series issued by the Bermuda Government (subsequent banknotes were issued by the Bermuda Monetary Authority, which continues to be responsible for the island's banknote issuance today) and it was the first series issued after the switch was made to the Bermuda Dollar. Offered in this lot is a complete set of 5 notes of that 1970 issue, all with the first prefix and matching low s/n 68. An extremely rare offering as such and an important opportunity for the specialist.
