Iraq 1931 (ND 1942) P-16a PMG Choice About UNC 58 1/4 Dinar
Kennet - Amin signature combination. A note that displays full originality in the PMG holder. We do see what appears to be the glimpses of a centerfold, but it is extremely hard to discern, and we would not be surprised if this note would have been called uncirculated in the past by many dealers. Regardless, it is nicer than most examples that are available of this type, and would make a perfect type representative of this extremely popular type in an advanced collection. King Faisal II became the leader of the Kingdom of Iraq a month before his fourth birthday after his father (King Ghazi) passed away in a car accident. His portrait would not appear on Iraqi banknotes until the early 1940s, when he was about eight years of age. This is one of those notes, printed by Bradbury, Wilkinson & Co. in England.
