Saudi Arabia ND (1961) / AH1379 P-10as PMG Choice UNC 64 100 Riyals (Specimen)
Saudi Arabia specimens are very difficult to find, especially those from the first few series. This is a pleasing specimen printed by Thomas de La Rue in England of the 100 Riyals of the second series, which dates back to the early 1960s. Very few of these appear to be available in the market today and it is surely missing from many collections. A few different specimen varieties exist, this is has punch hole cancellations in the signature area and a black overprint. The mounting mentioned by PMG is very hard to discern, and the note looks like a totally original Gem to us.
