Ashanti Medal, in silver, Gold Coast campaign 1900, with Kumassi clasp, awarded to 2176 Pte. Abubu Kare Kukawah G.C.C (Gold Coast Constabulary). EF and lustrous, The medal was awarded in silver to combatants and bronze medals were awarded to native transport personnel and servants. The Ashanti territories became part of the Gold Coast colony on January 1st 1902.
