SASANIAN KINGS, Shapur I, 240-270 AD. Æ unit (11.99 gm; 28 mm). obverse, Shapur's bust turning right, standard crown, earflap behind the ear, reverse, fire altar with attendants. SNS-1 Table 20 # 6, Gobl Plate 2 # 31. Nice original brown reddish, green and earthen patina. Choice VF. Extremely rare.
