SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II, 302-379 AD. Æ (1.86 gm; 16 mm). Shapur's bust to the right, monogram in front of face, reverse, fire altar with attendants. Struck over an earlier Romano / Byzantine fals with trace of letters on the outer ring visible. Choice VF. Original find patina. Extremely rare.
