A note from BCD: The "New York International" would then take place at the "Americana" hotel on 7th Avenue, today called the "Sheraton New York Times Square". In 1975 Myers did the Ancients and Henry Christensen the World Coins auctions. Many of the dealers who had tables there are no more with us. But they are fondly remembered by this writer who was just a foreigner lost in an ocean of tables full of enticing offerings. Catalogues such as this bring back memories of collectors and dealers talking coins, exchanging jokes and enjoying the food after the show in a place famous for its pastrami sandwiches across 7th Avenue.
