A note from BCD: His undeniable charm secured many important consignments from the 50's to the 70's but all good things come to an end, especially when not playing a straight game. This writer felt badly "burned", or "buried", in the Mabbot Greek sale and on top of this and because of it he had to pay elevated prices for Peloponnesian Imperials throughout his collecting years. But all this is history, Hans Schulman's catalogues remain an important memento of an ambiguous and notorious player in the mid-20th century coin scene.
