Elizabeth I (1558-1603), Sixth Issue, Sixpence, 1590, bust 6C, crowned left, rose behind, rev. square-topped shield over cross fourchée, 3.02g, 6h, m.m hand (North 2015; Spink 2578B), flan split at 2 o'clock, leading to crease ending at 9 o'clock, otherwise the legend pleasingly struck up, darkened surfaces, very fine.
