Charles II (1660-1685), Crown, 1670 VICESIMO SECVNDO, second bust variety right, rev. crowned cruciform shields, interlinked C's in angles, nine strings to harp, lettered edge downwards, 6h, 29.53g (ESC 40-[R]; Bull 380; Spink 3357), excavated and thus with lightly pitted surfaces, scratched to the obverse, nevertheless darkly toned, bolder very fine and rare.
