George III (1760-1820), 'New Coinage', Halfcrown, 1816, Type 1, large laureate head right, rev. crowned shield in Garter, milled edge, 14.13g, 12h (Bull 2086; ESC 613; Spink 3788), lightly wiped, otherwise residually lustrous and faintly colourfully toned, a mark on neck, nevertheless extremely fine.
