George III (1760-1820), 'New Coinage', Halfcrowns, Type 2 (2), 1817, laureate head right, rev. crowned shield in Garter, edge milled, 14.08g, 12h (ESC 618; Bull 2096), cleaned and bagmarked, but residually lustrous with some frosting, a bolder very fine; another, 1819, similar, 14.07g, 11h (ESC 623; Bull 2102; Spink 3789), once cleaned, now partially and patchily retoned, a few edge nicks, otherwise very fine or marginally better; additionally, George IV (1820-1830), 'Garter' Halfcrown, 1824, Type 2, laureate head left, rev. crowned shield within Garter and collar, milled edge, 14.02g, 7h (ESC 636; Bull 2367; Spink 3808), cleaned but partially retoned, about very fine (3).
