Victoria (1837-1901), 'Young Head', Halfcrown, 1840, type A3, young head left, WW incuse, rev. crowned square-topped shield, milled edge, 14.25g, 6h (ESC 673; Bull 2715; Spink 3887), the obverse wiped and with some contact marks, a metal flaw to field between DEI and the top of the hair, otherwise the reverse toned and with a slight flashy lustre, a really bold very fine, the reverse better, scarce.
