Independent Kingdoms, Sikh Empire, Ranjit Singh (AH 1263-1281, 1846-1864 AD), Silver Rupee, Amritsar Mint, "Nanakshahi" couplet, VS 1879, AD 1822, G. Singh Page no. 110, Type 01.39.01, Herrli # 01.07.04, NGC Graded MS 64, very scarce. A lovely example in high grade. Almost impossible to find Sikh Rupee in straight grades as they all have test marks on the edge. This example is free of any as well as is in very high grade. Superb coin.
