Figure on lion advancing right, holding dagger and reins; name and titles of Mahmud around, tamgha to upper right / Three-line legend citing the Ayyubid overlord al-Kamil Muhammad within ornate border; name and titles of the Caliph al-Nasir and AH date around. Whelan Type II; S&S Type 17.1; Album 1823.2. Near VF, brown patina, scratches. Scarce.
