Galley, with prow terminating in lion's head, on waves to left, carrying three hoplites, each holding shield; below, `K (in Phoenician script) and hippocamp to left, above murex shell / Lion attacking bull to left; 'WRMLK MLK GBL ('Urimilk, king of Gebal' in Phoenician script) above. Near Mint State; obv. struck slightly off-centre, attractively toned and retaining much of its remarkably elaborate design. Rare; particularly so in this condition.
