Grove 17a – El Protomedicato, Ciudad de México 1823. NGC MS-61 Medalla encargada por el personal médico como testimonio y muestra de su lealtad al Emperador. Anverso con busto de Agustín mirando a la derecha portando la cruz de la Orden Imperial de Guadalupe, por reverso inscripción a seis líneas y sobre ésta una estrella resplandeciente, finamente grabada y ejecutada en altos relieves por Francisco Gordillo (F. Gordillo signado bajo el busto). Acuñada en plata sobre un cospel de 40 milímetros de diámetro, emisión de cuños especialmente pulidos (al igual que el cospel) brindando reflectividad en superficie. Medal commissioned by the medical staff as a testimony and token of their loyalty to the Emperor. Obverse with bust of Augustine facing right bearing the cross of the Imperial Order of Guadalupe, reverse inscribed with six lines and above it a shining star, finely engraved and executed in high relief by Francisco Gordillo (F. Gordillo signed under the bust). Minted in silver on a 40 millimeters diameter coin blank, with specially polished dies (as well as the planchet) providing reflectivity on the surface. Ex.
