Folio. 64 fine plates illustrating 3,542 coins, accompanying pages of descriptive text. All five parts bound into a single volume in later brown cloth. A few light marks and bumps, internally clean. Fine overall. One of the greatest collections of Greek coins formed in the twentieth century, covering the Greek world in it's entirety. Lockett's coins were later dispersed through a number of Glendinings sales in the 1950's and early 1960's and frequently appear on the market today, always commanding a strong premium.
