The superbly produced catalogues of this legendary collection owned by the infamous Bunker Hunt brothers who were rumoured to have spent over $12 million in the two decades it took to build this remarkable collection of Greek, Roman and Byzantine coins. Sold shortly after they were declared bankrupt in 1986, the coin sales alone totalled over $22 million - not quite enough to cover the astonishing $500 million they had managed to accrue in debts.
