SICILY, Syracuse. Hieron I. 478-466 BC. AR Tetradrachm (25mm, 17.57 g, 9h). Struck circa 475-470 BC. Charioteer driving quadriga right; above, Nike flying right, crowning horses / Diademed head of Arethousa right; four dolphins around. Boehringer Series XIIc, 338 (V166/R236); HGC 2, 1307; BMC 23 (same dies); Randazzo 507–9 (same dies). Toned, slightly off center and minor die wear on obverse, mark on reverse. Good VF.
