CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 344-340 BC. AR Nomos (21mm, 7.72 g, 5h). Warrior, nude but for crested helmet, holding shield, on horse galloping left; |- below / Phalanthos, nude, holding kantharos, riding dolphin left; below, K above waves. Fischer-Bossert Group 47, 660 (V252/R512); Vlasto –; HN Italy 870. Lightly toned, some die wear on obverse. Good VF.
