KINGS of MACEDON. temp. Antigonos II Gonatas – Demetrios II Aitolikos. 246/5-229 BC. AR Tetradrachm (32mm, 17.12 g, 11h). Amphipolis or Pella mint. Wreathed head of Poseidon right / Apollo, testing bow, seated left on prow left; monogram below. TEA Period III, Group 43, 197 (O32/R188); HGC 3, 1051 (Antigonos III Doson). Light iridescent tone, minor die wear, a few light scratches. Good VF.
