SELEUKID EMPIRE. Seleukos III Soter (Keraunos). 225/4-222 BC. AR Tetradrachm (29mm, 16.85 g, 11h). Uncertain Mint 51, in northern Syria or Mesopotamia. Diademed head right / Apollo, testing arrow and placing hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monograms to outer left and outer right. SC 934; Le Rider, Antioche, p. 108, dies A3/P10 = WSM 1182 = Babylon, Rois 300 = de Luynes 3291 (same dies); HGC 9, 414g. Toned, a couple of light scratches on obverse. Good VF. Extremely rare, only one example recorded in SC (the de Luynes example), one additional in CoinArchives (CNG E-102, lot 33).
