Major Harry John Malcolm Wilson M.C. served in the French and Belgian Theatres of War from the 6th of September 1915. From October 1918 he was variously employed in one or other of the following Theatres of Operations: Greek Macedonia, Bulgaria, Serbia, European Turkey, and the Islands of the Aegean Sea. Remaining a Regular officer after the Great War he was advanced to substantive Major in 1924 and placed on the Reserve of Officers. Wilson was recalled for Service with the Royal Artillery during the Second World War serving in the North West Europe Theatre.
