The Most Honourable Order of the Bath, C.B. (Civil) Companion's breast badge, silver‑gilt, hallmarks for London 1902, privately named (Col W.M. Angus. CB, DL, V.D.), complete with swivel‑ring bar suspension and ribbon buckle, a little tarnished, otherwise extremely fine (1).
Colonel W.M. Angus served with the Royal Garrison Artillery (Newcastle Artillery) he was Past Master of Reserve Forces Lodge of Northumbria No. 2666, in 1899. His Portrait photograph and papers are held by the Imperial War Museum.
