A superb example almost as struck with strong matte proof brilliance and excellent eye appeal, unusual for this type, graded by NGC as PF65+ MATTE.

Calendar Year Mintage 15,000.

The Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Edward the Seventh by the grace of God, King of the Britons, Defender of the Faith, Emperor of India", and on the edge as "An ornament and safeguard in the second year of Reign".
