DEFENSOR, rev. struck en medaille, crown at centre, cruciform emblems around, emblematic shields in angles, date either side of Welsh leek, toothed border and raised rim surrounding, edge with incuse English legend, +FAITH AND TRUTH I BEAR UNTO YOU (Bull 4333; ESC 393H; L&S 3; Davies 2280; S.4136). Brilliant proof example with an attractive slight gold hue, almost as struck, graded by NGC as PF68 CAMEO, the highest grade level for this type.
