Anne (1702-14), silver Post-Union Sixpence, 1708, Edinburgh Mint, E* below draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, ANNA.DEI. GRATIA., rev. Post-Union crowned cruciform shields, six strings to Irish harp, garter star at centre, date split either side of top crown with J style 1, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, MAG. BRI. FR. ET. HIB. REG., weight 2.94g, 23mm (Bull 1468; ESC 1593; S.3621). Broad struck resulting in an oversized flan, fine to good fine with old tone, traces of red wax in recesses, rare.

The Latin legends translate as "Anne by the grace of God" on obverse, and on the reverse "Queen of Great Britain, France and Ireland."
