MS63 RB | George III (1760-1820), copper Penny, 1806, laureate bust right, with incuse hair curl by tie knot, date below, Latin legend and beaded border surrounding, GEORGIUS III. D: G. REX, rev. Britannia seated on rocks facing left with shield and trident, arm extended holding olive branch, sea with ship in background, SOHO below right, inscription BRITANNIA above, edge grained (Peck 1342 KP37; S.3780). An excellent example with residual mint lustre, graded by NGC as MS63 RB.

Calendar Year Mintage 19,355,480.

The Latin legend translates as "George the Third by the Grace of God, King".
