MS62 BN | Victoria (1837-1901), copper Pennies (2), 1841, 1853, young head left, date below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA DEI GRATIA, rev. Britannia seated right on rocks with shield and trident, intertwined rose shamrock and thistle below, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, BRITANNIAR: REG: FID: DEF:, edge plain (Peck 1480, 1500; S.3948). The first graded by NGC as MS62 BN, the second graded as UNC Details – Damaged due to flattening of highpoints, although this appears to be due to the coin being struck on a thin planchet. (2)

NGC Certifications 6670776-007/008.

Latin legend on the obverse translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God", and on the reverse as "Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith".
