Britannia seated facing right on rocks with shield and trident, lighthouse to her left, ship sailing away to her right, denomination ONE PENNY either side round, date in exergue, weight 9.82g (Peck 1655; Fr.42 dies 6+G; Satin 45; S.3954). A lightly toned example with some residual mint lustre, graded by NGC as MS65 RB and unusual.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith".
