MS65 RD | Victoria (1837-1901), bronze Penny, 1866, laureate and draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:, rev. Britannia seated facing right on rocks with shield and trident, lighthouse to her left, ship sailing away to her right, denomination ONE PENNY either side round, date in exergue (Peck 1670; Fr.52 dies 6+G; M.1866A; S.3954). An excellent example with strong residual mint lustre, graded by NGC as MS65 RD.

NGC Certification 6321673-007.

Calendar Year Mintage 9,999,000.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britains, Defender of the Faith".
