MS62 BN | Victoria (1837-1901), bronzed Penny, 1866, laureate and draped bust left, Latin legend and toothed border surrounding, VICTORIA D: G: BRITT: REG: F: D:, rev. Britannia seated facing right on rocks with shield and trident, lighthouse to her left, ship sailing away to her right, denomination ONE PENNY either side round, date in exergue (cf.Peck1670; Fr.52 dies 6+F; cf.M.1866A; S.3954). An extremely rare type with an attractive matte bronze finish, graded by NGC as MS62 BN.

NGC Certification 6321673-006.

The Latin legend translates as "Victoria by the Grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith".
