EF70 | Elizabeth II (1952-), brass mint error Penny, 1966, off-metal mint error struck on a commonwealth blank, laureate head right, Latin legend and beaded border surrounding, ELIZABETH. II. DEI. GRATIA. REGINA. F: D:, rev. Britannia seated facing right on rocks with shield and trident, sea in background, denomination ONE PENNY either side round, date in exergue (Fr.256 dies 3+I; S.4157). Possibly struck using a Jamaican planchet, toned and graded by CGS UK as EF70.

CGS UK Certification variety 2, 8889-PE.E2.1966.02

Calendar Year Mintage 165,739,200.

The Latin legend translates as "Elizabeth the Second by the Grace of God, Queen, Defender of the Faith".
