India, gold temple token, age unknown, in the style of a Mohur of Akbar (AH 963-1014 / 1556-1605 AD), mint off flan but based on Agra, dated AH 974, tested as 23ct gold, the Khalima shahada within cinquefoil, names of the four caliphs around, rev. legends apparently based on the al sultan al azam khuld allahu / jalal ud din muhammad akbar badshah ghazi / ta'ala mulkahu wa sultanahu zarb... formula but with errors in calligraphy, 10.96g (cf KM 106 for type). Shroff marks to edge, very fine, high quality for a token.
