Agrippa, son in law of Augustus († 12 BC), Æ As, posthumous, struck under Caligula (37-41), M. AGRIPPA. L. – F. – COS. III, head left, wearing rostral crown, rev. S-C, Neptune, nude but for mantle over shoulders, standing facing, head turned left, holding trident in left hand, a dolphin on his outstretched right hand, 11.57g, 6h (RIC [Gaius] 58). Slightly smoothed, very good portrait and deep patina.
