KINGS of MACEDON. Demetrios I Poliorketes. 306-283 BC. AV Stater (19mm, 8.59 g, 1h). In the types of Alexander III. Pella mint. Struck circa 294-293 BC. Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet decorated with serpent, and necklace / ΔHMHTPIOY, Nike standing left, holding wreath in extended right hand and cradling stylis in left arm; monogram to left.
