Two figures advancing left, carrying animal tied to pole suspended on their shoulders; below, animal advances right, looking back / Persian king standing facing, head left, holding in each hand a lion by one of its hind legs. Meshorer & Qedar 130; Shoshana II 20044; Sofaer 144; CNG 82, lot 733. Good VF, lightly toned, a little porosity. Very rare variety for this interesting type.
