COMMODO CAES AVG FIL GERM SARM, bareheaded and draped bust right / SPES PVBLICA, Spes advancing left, holding flower in right hand, raising hem of skirt with left. RIC III 620 (Aurelius) var. (bust also cuirassed); MIR 18, 344-12/13; Calicó 2334; Biaggi 1012; BMCRE 654 var. (same). EF, underlying luster. Rare reverse type and extremely rare without cuirass.
