Russia Medal 'For Courage' (20th Century). The medal 'For Courage' has the form of a regular circle with a diameter of 37 mm. On the obverse side of the medal; in the upper part; there are three airplanes flying one behind the other in the direction to the left and up. The wingspan of the first plane is 7 mm; the second - 4 mm; the third - 3 mm. Below the plane; the inscription 'ЗА ОТВАГУ' is placed in two lines; under which there is a tank with a width of 10 mm and a length of 6 mm. The inscription 'СССР' is located in the lower part of the medal. Width of inscriptions - 9 mm. Height of two central letters - 3.5 mm; height of outer letters - 2.5 mm. All images on the medal are relief; inscriptions are embossed; covered with ruby-red enamel. Depth of lettering - 1 mm. The obverse side of the medal is bordered by a border 0.75 mm wide and 0.25 mm high. The medal is connected by means of an ear and a ring to a pentagonal box covered with a gray silk moiré ribbon with two longitudinal blue stripes on the edges.
