Russia USSR Order of the October Revolution (20th Century). The Order of the October Revolution is a gilded five-pointed star covered with red enamel against the background of a silver radiant pentagon. In the upper part of the five-pointed enamel star there is a banner covered with red enamel with an inscription in two lines 'OCTOBER REVOLUTION'. In the center of the star is a silver pentagon depicting the cruiser Aurora. The pentagon is oxidized in different tones. In the lower part of the order; there is an applied hammer and sickle. The order is made of silver. The applied hammer and sickle; located at the bottom of the order; are made of gold-silver-palladium-copper alloy. In the hammer and sickle, the content of pure gold is 0.187 + 0.07 grams, pure silver - 0.05 + 0.02 grams, palladium - 0.019 + 0.02 grams. The size of the order between the opposite tops of the enamel star is 43 mm. The distance from the center to the top of any of the rays of the star is 22 mm. With the help of an eyelet and a ring; the order is connected to a pentagonal block covered with a red silk moiré ribbon 24 mm wide. There are five thin longitudinal blue stripes in the middle of the ribbon. Silver. № 61361. Weight approx: 38.29 g. Diameter: 45x43 mm.
