Lithuania January 13 Commemorative Medal (1991) The edge of the obverse side of the medal has a ridge 1.5 mm wide and 0.5 mm high. The medal features a relief image of a wounded warrior leaning on an angel; in the warrior's right hand is a shield with Gedimins pillars. At the top is written 'January 13' and at the bottom are the numbers '1991'. The edge of the other side of the medal has the same edge as the obverse; in the center - the word 'Lithuania' in relief; on which the relief inscription 'we were, we are and we will be' in smaller letters. At the top of the medal is a relief Vytis; at the bottom is an oak branch. The ribbon of the medal is yellow; with vertical black and red stripes on the edges and two green ones in the middle.
