(annulet) Ph DEI GRA (annulet) (annulet) FRAnC REX (annulet), Philippe enthroned facing on ornate Gothic throne set on daïs ornamented with saltires, holding long and short scepters, each tipped with lis; triple annulet stops / + (annulet) XPC VIИCIT XPC REGИAT XPC IMPERAT, cross fleurée; crowns in quarters; all within angled quadrilobe, each angle ending in leaves flanking trefoil; double pellet-in-annulet stops. Duplessy 253 var. (initial saltires in place of annulets in legends); cf. Ciani 275; Friedberg 267. Superb EF, areas of red toning. Extremely rare.
