IMP C MAXENTIVS P F AVG, laureate head of Maxentius right / CONSERV VRB SVAE, Roma, seated left, holding globe and scepter, shield at her side in tetrastyle temple, Capitoline Wolf & Twins in pediment,Victories ascending from eaves at corners. Maxentius in military garb stands before her facing, head right, foot on captive, and receiving globe from Roma; // AQΓ . RIC VI 113-114. Slightly rough VF, well struck and centered (reverse better defined than obverse) on generous-size flan with slightly rough edges and flan-casting pontil; dark green patina; ancient dig in obverse field beneath Maxentius' nose.
