Gorgon's head facing, with tongue protruding, the hair made up of pellets, all within a dotted square within a deep incuse square (cf BMC 10, pl. II, 18 (tetradrachm); Prospero, lot 630 (tetradrachm, but these dies)).Of wonderful archaic style, struck from the same dies as the incredibly rare Tetradrachm, toned, very fine.Of the highest rarity, apparently the only recorded example.
