L CESTIVS / C NORBA, EX S C – PR, curule chair, its front legs adorned with eagles, on which are two snakes facing each other (Cr 491/1b; Calicó 4 (these dies); Bahrfeldt 25 and pl. IV, 19 (these dies); Syd 1154).The usual minor weakness on the left eagle for this reverse die, otherwise well-struck and of good style, about extremely fine. A rare variety.
